[[COMPLETED]] Planned Maintenance for Classic Exchange Customers

Greetings to our Classic and Mail2Web Exchange Customers,

Thank you so much for your patience.   We are happy to advise that the maintenance in our Classic Exchange environment is now complete.  Any messages that were sent during the downtime will now be delivered.

Planned Maintenance for Classic Exchange Customers

Dear Valued Classic Exchange Customers,

Please be advise that we will be performing a critical update to the Classic Exchange environment

on Friday, July 3rd starting at 9 PM EST for up to 7 hours.

This will affect all Classic and Mail2Web Exchange mailboxes, they will be unable to send or receive messages during this time.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  Messages will be delivered upon completion of this maintenance.

In the process of improving your service we are trying our best to ensure that there is minimal impact to you. Thank you for your understanding of the necessity of this upgrade. We sincerely appreciate your business and support.

Yahoo Email Issue

Dear Microsoft Exchange Email Customers,

This notice is regarding a change from Yahoo that will limit your Microsoft Exchange Email service, should a Yahoo email account be sent up as an alternative email. The following change was made on April 8th 2014:

https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail/SLN24016.html?impressions=true

This limits the sending ‘to’ and ‘from’ a yahoo email account, a change that myhosting.com did not foresee.

To remove this feature and continue utilizing our full Exchange services, please log into your control panel select the ‘Primary From Address’ OR ‘Alternate Email Address’ > Edit> Remove.

[Update] Connection Issues

Dear Shared Hosting and Email Customer’s,

Following the interruptions we have encountered today, it’s believe we have determined the root cause. As an effort to prevent this issue from arising again, we have an adjustment to make within the network. We have scheduled a time to complete the network update that we believe would provide the least impact to your online presence. Though, any impact regardless of the day or time is not ideal.

All Shared Hosting and Email Customers will be offline at 9:00pm EST today.

We expect a full recovery of service up to an hour pending no unexpected issues occur. When it comes back online, all emails sent or received will be queued for delivery.

We would like to pass on our utmost sincere apologies that you have experienced this interruption. Yahoo domain email delay

Hello Valued myhosting.com Customers,

We have just been informed that some or our email from XSMTP to Yahoo’s domains are being delayed for up to a few hours.

This seems to be impacting those sending from Exchange, XMAIL and Classic accounts as the XSMTP system is used to relay mail.

As a result we are doing our best to investigate spammers and other individuals abusing our XSMTP system and they will be dealt with accordingly.  Please bear with us as we work through this.  We will provide an updated when the issue is resolved.
